Unai Emery say Xhaka is wrong to gesturqed to the Arsenal crowd during the 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace at Emirates Stadium last Sunday.

 

Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka was cheered when subbed off, booed because he was walking, later he cupped his ear to the crowd and took his shirt off and walked down the tunnel

 

Arsenal had an early lead scored by both their defender Sokratis and Davide Luiz, but later got their goal conceal by a penalty from Milivojevic and an equaliser on the second half by Jordan Ayew ensuring a point for Palace.

 

Emery told the media conference about Xhaka’s reaction that ” He’s wrong, he’s wrong but we are going to speak inside about the situation. I want first to listen to him and to be calm but, really, he was wrong in this action”

 

He then told the media conference “we are here because we have supporters. We work for them and need to have respect for them when they are applauding us or critisicing us”
