Newcastle VS Man City (Saturday)
Man city’s pressure for challenging the Premier League title will continue this Saturday afternoon against Newcastle. The current champion are 9 points behind the leader Liverpool. Newcastle are one of a few teams to defeated Man City last season. Their season have been in a pretty good pace sitting at the 14th place while the defending champion are currently at the 3rd place.
With the pressure Man City is having, they have not won a game in the last two matches, we project that Man City will bring back the important three points back home in order to keep their hopes challenging for the title.
Tottenham VS Bournemouth (Saturday)
Jose Mourinho will be making his Premier League home debut as Spurs new head coach. Tottenhan will be hosting Bournemouth at home as the Special One claimed a win with Spurs with his two games in charge against West Ham and during the UCL week against Olympicaos. However despite the win Jose Mourinho has some major problem with his defence. While Bournemouth have lost their last 2 league game to Newcastle and Wolves, they also have a poor record against Spurs having lost to them 6 out of the 8 meeting they have had.
With injured and suspended players from Bournemouth side, it would not be hard for Jose and his team to win their 3 points at home.
Liverpool VS Brighton (Saturday)
Liverpool will be welcoming Brighton to Anfield as they are looking to stretch out their unbeaten run for the Premier League. The red remain on top of the league after Jurgen Klopp’s men having dropped only 2 points from 39 this season. They are 8 points above Leicester City and 9 points above the defending champion Man City. While Brighton are currently having a poor away games losing their last 3 away games against Man United, Aston Villa, and Chelsea. Even thought the Reds held a 1-1 draw against Napoli in the UCL on Wednesday, they still won 12 out of 13 Premier League games dispite having to score at the last minutes to secure the win.
It looks like Liverpool have every point to win over Brighton. Eventhough this season The Reds haven’t score more than 4 goals. This week they might have a chance to blow out Brighton and they might also have their first clean sheet since September.
Chelsea VS West Ham (Saturday)
Chelsea will be hosting West Ham at home this weekend. Despite the defeat Chelsea have against Man City, it’s been a quite impressive start of a season for a rookie coach like Frank Lampard as they are look to return into their winning ways. While the West Ham side haven’t won against any Premier League sides for the past 8 games, a defeat against Chelsea could force Manuel Pellegrini to be sacked. The Hammers are in a horrible form as all the player are out of place, especially with Winston Reid out of the squad due to injury. Chelsea also are facing a problem as they will have to play without Tammy Abraham.
This match could boost the confidence in Lampard team after the defeat to Man City. With West Ham losing the 4 out of 5 matches and Chelsea winning 7 out of their last 8 match. We can see Chelsea securing a 3 point at home.
Burnley VS Crystal Palace (Saturday)
Burnley begin their season with an impressive start standing at the 7th place with 18 points, above Arsenal with a goal different and 1 point over Manchester United and Tottenham. Meanwhile The Eagles have not won a game on their last 5 matches, as we can see their last 5 matches are against the top team like Man City, Leicester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool. We can see why they are not having a good form.
After a late winner for Liverpool to win against Palace 2-1 . The Eagles might be able to end their poor form against Burnley this Saturday as Burnley have a poor record when playing against them.
Southampton VS Watford (Saturday)
The Premier League two bottom struggler will face off against each other at St Mary. With both team are desperate to gain this 3 points. With Southampton gaining 9 points from 13 games, just 1 point over Watford who are standing last with 8 points.
The host Southampton are likely to take this 3 points as they show are really excellent form last week against Arsenal.
Norwich VS Arsenal (Sunday)
After Arsenal head coach Unai Emery got sacked, Arsenal will travel to Norwich as Freddie Ljungberg is appointed as a new head coach for the club. Unai Emery was sacked last Friday as he lead Arsenal without a win in the last 7 games. Meanwhile Norwich end their poor streak after a 2-0 win over Everton. Moving them to the 18th place in the league.
It is hard to predict who will end up getting the 3 points, as Arsenal will have to adjust to the their new appointed coach and with Norwich city who upset Man City earlier this season. Norwich might have an advantage against a poor form Arsenal, however this could be a testing 90 minutes for Arsenal to prove themselves and earn there point. It is a tough prediction as we see both team sharing a point at Carrow Road.
Wolverhampton Wanderers VS Sheffield United (Sunday)
Sheffield United will be heading to Molineux Stadium to play Wolves, with Wolves sitting in fifth and Sheffield sitting at sixth as both team are battling for a spot in the European competition next season. It could be seen that Sheffield have exceeded our expectation so far.
Both team are great to watch as they have been keeping an impressive form. Wolves have shown that they are capable of European football, and with Sheffield unexpected impressive form, we could see both team sharing a point at Molineus Stadium.
Manchester United VS Aston Villa (Sunday)
Manchester United will be welcoming Aston Villa to Old Trafford. Manchester United are currently sitting at the 9th place with 17 points and Aston Villa sit at 15th place with 14 points. Man United season have been unimpressive and they have not win in their past 2 games.
Eventhough The Red Devil might lost to Astana last Thursday, it can clearly be seen that Solskjaer rested almost all of his first-team players. It won’t be an easy game for United as Villa had their recent winning game against Newcastle. But Man United must get this win or Ole Gunner might be the next coach after Pochettino and Unai Emery to get sack.
Leicester City VS Everton (Sunday)
Everton will be heading to the King Power Stadium to play Leicester, Leicester City looks like they will make their seven straight win in all competition this afternoon. The Foxes sit 3rd in the table with 11 points behide the current leader Liverpool, while a struggling Everton sit at 17th place above the relegation line.
Considering the form of both team Leicester City have a very excellent season so far and they are unstoppable at the moment. We can see The Foxes gaining this 3 points, but Marco Silva will have to put everything to reduce the pressure if he want to save his job.
